In addition to the many surgical procedures that we offer, we have several different skin care options to help mend and repair damaged skin. Some common skin conditions are environmentally damaged skin, active acne, acne prone, hyperpigmented and hypersensitive. She will evaluate your skin and skin care regimen and suggest a plan of action that may include skin care products, facials or light chemical peels.
Meet Bernadett
Bernadett Ravishankar offers over 20 years of experience as a paramedical esthetician. She decided at a young age, after experiencing teenage acne problems of her own, to dedicate herself to helping people feel great about themselves and how they look.
She received her skin care specialist training in Hungary and worked there for a couple of years before moving to the United States in 1990. Bernadett has been working at the Arlington Cosmetic Surgery Center since 1994.
She stays up to date by taking continuing education classes on a regular basis. Bernadett has built an extensive clientele throughout the years and she attributes her success to effective in office treatments, home care products, educating patients about their skin care and honesty.
Professional Skin Care Products
The products that are dispensed out of a physician’s office have been developed by physicians and have been perfected over time. Some require a prescription and cannot be purchased in department stores or at the mall. Bernadett is continuously testing and trying out new products to help patients with their home care regimen. She will not recommend a product unless she knows it will work. There are too many new products and treatments on the market today which make claims that they don’t deliver.
